Trespa TopLab^ECO-FIBRE is made by converting softwood from certified forests into an attractive, durable, moisture resistant and low maintenance material.

Color-through core for great natural design

A unique feature of Trespa TopLab^ECO-FIBRE is its color-through core. This allows designers to create a highly individual and completely new laboratory environment, using warm and natural colors. In the unlikely event that a surface is damaged, the color-through panel will retain its color.

PEFC Certification

As an environmentally sound solution, Trespa TopLab^ECO-FIBRE is certified by the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes (PEFC), the world's largest forest certification organization. The PEFC Council is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental organization which promotes sustainably managed forests through independent third party certification. The scheme is supported by 149 governments in the world covering 85% of the world's forest area.
PEFC provides a reliable assurance that Trespa TopLab^ECO-FIBRE supports the sustainable management of forests. This certification can be passed on via Chain of Custody to manufacturers of laboratory furniture who use Trespa TopLab^ECO-FIBRE.

Chemical resistance

Trespa TopLab^ECO-FIBRE is designed to deliver an outstanding performance in a laboratory environment. Thanks to Trespa’s Electron Beam Curing (EBC) technology, the completely pore-free surface is close to impervious to all possible materials used in laboratories: radio-isotopes, human tissue and blood samples, bacteria, molds or micro-organisms.
Trespa TopLab^ECO-FIBRE is water-resistant and remains easy to clean or disinfect.
Trespa TopLab^ECO-FIBRE is resistant to a large number of aggressive chemicals. They will not mark the surface if cleaned within 24 hours. Test results show the panel’s 24 hour resistance (see separate test datasheet).

Choice of colors

Trespa TopLab^ECO-FIBRE is available in two contemporary and attractive colors:

Sahara – a sandy beige tone
Amazon – a dark green with grey undertones

The inherent characteristics of the wood fibers create a natural variation in color and appearance both within the same panel and from sheet to sheet. This enhances the overall natural look.
